About the Project

Upskilling Europe's Employment Guidance Professionals

The Challenge

Why Virtual Job?

Employment Counsellors and Guidance Practitioners across Europe are increasingly encountering a new digital landscape in recruitment — one shaped by virtual job fairs, AI-powered screening tools, and augmented reality onboarding environments.

Yet for many practitioners, training in these emerging environments has not kept pace with the speed of change. VIRTUAL JOB is designed to close this gap.

VIRTUAL JOB focuses on recent innovations in digital and virtual environments for diagnostic, screening and matching functionalities by companies and education authorities for pre-boarding, onboarding and mobility.

Implemented across 6 European countries and engaging a minimum of 100 practitioners, the project uses flexible, expert-led action learning — combining local masterclasses with transnational collaboration — to build real competence for the digital future of work guidance.

Approach
